Week 4 - Award Winners!

Congratulations to Loreta for being our award winner from Room 20 this week! She has done an awesome job this week of being a great learner. She always puts her 100% effort when doing her work and is also ready to learn with a positive attitude. Well done Loreta! Keep it up!

Room 12 and Room 20's Assembly!

This Friday, Room 12 and Room 20 hosted Owairaka's school assembly! It was a challenge that was put in front of us and all students put in lots of effort to make the assembly a success. Room 12 shared their learning about fractions and also did a short jump jam routine. Room 20 on the other hand shared some of their learning about biographies and leaving a legacy. We also sang songs together and presented certificates to some awesome learners. Great job Room 12 and Room 20!

Week 4 - Swimming Fun!

In Week 4, Room 20 had the privilege of visiting the Mt. Albert Wave Pools for swimming lessons. We learnt about swimming basics such as floating, kicking, using a paddle board, and much more. It was a challenging yet enjoyable time learning. To top it all of, we got thirty minutes of free time at the pools when we went on the hydroslide and go to enjoy ourselves in the big pool!

Week 3 - Award Winners!

Congratulations to Mariah and Vaughn, our award winners for Week 3! They have both been awesome learners this week by always being ready to learn, having a positive attitude towards learning, and trying their best. Well done Mariah and Vaughn! Keep it up!

Week 3 - Buddy Class!

Room 20 spent some great time in Week 3 with their buddy class Room 12! We read with one another and then took some time to share the work we have been doing on our chromebooks with them. After the reading session we also took some time to discuss what it means to be a good role model to our younger peers. Great job Room 20!

Week 2 - Award Winners!

Congratulations to Murat for being Room 20's award winner from Week 2! Murat has been an awesome learner in Room 20 for the first two weeks of Term 2. He is always ready to learn with a positive attitude, and gives everything he does his full effort. Great work Murat and keep it up!

Week 1 - Buddy Class

In Week 1, Room 20 had an awesome lesson with their buddy class Room 12! We learnt about fractions (1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16). We learnt that halving 1 gives us 1/2. Halving 1/2 gives us 1/4. Halving 1/4 gives us 1/8. Thanks Room 12 for some awesome learning!

Term 2 Focus!

Welcome back students of Room 20! The focus for the first week of Term 2 is being responsible. Being responsible includes being in the right place at the right time doing the right thing, looking after your own and others belongings, focusing on your learning, and managing yourself by making good choices!
